Where Florida's demand concentrates
Florida's demand is concentrated in a handful of large, fast-moving metros. The Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach corridor alone is home to roughly 6.5 million people, the ninth-largest metro in the country, followed by Tampa Bay and Orlando, each well over two million. Jacksonville, Sarasota, Fort Myers, and Tallahassee round out a deep field of secondary markets.
Each behaves differently. Miami is dense, multilingual, and intensely competitive. Orlando and Fort Myers are absorbing waves of new residents with no dentist yet. Tallahassee is a steady university and government town. A strategy that treats them the same leaves patients, and budget, on the table.
